After years of using regular e-mail and text chat sites as the most efficient way for people to communicate, the advent of live webcams has given people the ability to finally see and hear each other instantaneously.

Communication through the internet using the video web cam format or network camera platform has become so widely accepted and used that you would be hard pressed not to find a video web cam broadcast from every major city in the world, covering every imaginable news event or topic. The regular internet user began setting up their own personal web cams in their own homes and broadcasting live feeds; something only previously used by companies with the financial and technological resources to use the streaming video format.
